A Working Farm Stay in the Heart of the Countryside

At Mudbar Farm, we welcome you to share our fields, animals and food. Stay in comfortable farm accommodation, join us for relaxed tours, and sit down to meals made with ingredients grown just steps from your door.

About Mudbar Farm

“Mudbar Farm is a working arable farm, lovingly run by Don Cameron and family. For generations, we’ve cared for this land and the animals on it, and we’re proud to open our gates to guests who want to reconnect with nature.

Whether you join us for a weekend break or a longer stay, you’ll wake up to birdsong, spend your days outdoors, and enjoy honest, seasonal food grown right here on the farm.”

Farm Tours & Everyday Adventures

See how a working farm runs day to day. Our relaxed, guided tours are tailored to suit all ages and levels of interest.
Guided Farm Walks

Guided Farm Walks

Walk through our fields, meet the animals, and hear how we care for the land throughout the seasons.
meet the animals

Meet the Animals

Depending on the time of year, help feed [lambs / chickens / calves], collect eggs, or simply spend quiet time with our animals.

Seasonal Farm Work

Try everyday tasks such as planting, harvesting, mucking out or fence checks – as much or as little as you like.

Family-Friendly Experiences

We can adapt tours for children, with safety briefings and age‑appropriate activities.
Farm tours are available to overnight guests and day visitors by booking in advance.

Farm‑to‑Table Experiences

No long haul transport. No mystery supply chain. Our produce and lamb are raised and grown with the end plate in mind, working closely with the kitchen so what’s planted and raised lines up with what’s inspiring the menu at the Mudbar Restaurant.

What to Expect

  • Breakfasts: “Fresh eggs, homemade bread or pastries, seasonal fruit, and good coffee or tea.”
  • Supper Clubs / Shared Dinners: “On selected dates, join us around a large table for a set menu featuring the best of the farm and local area.”
Note: We can cater for most dietary requirements with notice – please share any needs when you book.
